In-Home Respite
Description:
May include provision of companionship, supervision and/or assistance with activities of daily living for mentally or physically disabled and frail elderly persons in the absence of the primary caregiver(s). In-Home Respite care is provided at the client's residence.Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) are activities that are considered an everyday part of normal life, such as:
- stair climbing
- walking
- bathing
- dressing
- toileting
- transferring
- eating
- toileting
