Biography of Susan GawaluchÂ

Susan Gawaluch began working with seniors in May, 2004 when she was hired as an Administrative Assistant for Golden Acres, an assisted living community in Fennville. Susan is a graduate of Ferris State University with an Associates in Applied Science degree. In February, 2006, LifeHouse purchased Golden Acres and Susan became the Business Manager. In February, 2007, Golden Acres name was changed to Golden Orchards and Susan was promoted to the position of Executive Director of this 40 bed assisted living community.
Susan sees every day the struggles that the families have to face when their loved one can no longer be safe at home. No one wants to leave their home and Susan wants to make sure that all seniors that need help receive it so they can stay at home as long as possible. With providers offering seniors personal care, meals, homemaking and transportation they are able to stay at home longer and are happier. It is such a joy working and learning from seniors.
